Insurance I am not in network with any insurance plans. However, your insurance provider may cover part of my fee as an out-of-network provider which could help offset your out of pocket costs. I will be happy to provide a monthly invoice for you to file with your insurance company (super bill) upon request.
For additional information, please refer to this step-by-step guide on how to navigate out-of-network benefits.
I’d recommend asking your insurance provider these questions to help determine your benefits:
Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
Are there any benefits if I see an out-of-network provider?
Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
Know that when you involve your insurance, they can ask for your medical records. I will also be required to provide you with a mental health diagnosis.
Starting in 2022, there are new protections that prevent surprise medical bills. If you’re uninsured or you decide not to use your health insurance for a service, under these protections, I will provide you with a good faith estimate of the cost of your care. Here’s what you need to know about your new rights.
Payment I accept cash, check, and all major credit cards as forms of payment. My documenting software which is HIPAA compliant can store your chosen form of payment for you.
Cancellation Policy If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session. A credit card will be asked to be stored on file in case of cancellations past the 24 hour cut off.
